戈拉大象營飯店(Gorah Elephant Camp)

Si vous recherchez un lieu magnifique paisible et magique c est l endroit idéal Tout est fait pour que l on se sente dans out of africa l ambiance le mobilier la musique et la chambre bien sûr De plus le personnel est aux petits soins avec des petites attentions et les animaux viennent jusque devant votre terrasse c est le plus bel endroit où nous avons séjourné en Afrique du Sud Je ne rêve que d une chose y revenir

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans ce lodge absolument incroyable. Totalement isolé (la route la plus proche est à 15 km), une succession de bungalows indépendants au milieu du parc national d'ADDO national elephant. accueil parfait ,cadre exceptionnel, breakfast ,lunch,diner , petites collations ,safaris deux fois 3 heures par jour,guide parfait .Les repas étaient excellents,cave à vin de haute tenue. Les éléphants, zèbres , antilopes ,phacochères , rhinocéros, singes se cotoient et viennent se désaltérer au point d'eau situé devant la salle de breakfast. Il n'y a pas de barrière de protection qui séparent le parc animalier très grand et les bungalows. Les safaris sont un moment inoubliable (rencontres avec plusieurs lions entre autre) et le soir nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un éléphant qui est venu manger devant la terrasse de notre tente bungalow( 2 mètres):ce fut un moment inoubliable

Quite an incredible experience. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and your stay unique to you. Each day starts with an early morning game drive, with another at dusk. Our guide, Justin, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us the opportunity to see some incredible animals in their natural habitat – lions, rhino, elephants, buffalo, zebra, warthog, ostriches, and more. The rest of the day is yours to relax by the pool; in the beautiful old lodge overlooking the water hole, where all kinds of animals come and go throughout the day; or in your private tented suite. All food and drink is included. Stepping outside after a little siesta to see elephants, zebra and, in one memorable moment, lions walking across the plain outside your cabin, with nothing but air separating you from them, is simply a transcendental experience.

This place is magical!! The main house was built in 1823 and some of the furniture is from the same era with amazing carvings. The tent we stayed in is spacious with everything you need. Comfortable bed and most amazing are the animals hanging outside your room. The staff makes you feel like royalty. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Gorah is nothing short of magical. The location and amazing animal viewing opportunities are wonderful and the lodge and the “tents” are truly luxurious. And then the staff make it even more special. They have thought of everything, from the water flask at the gate house, the amenity kit, great wines and food. The guides share their knowledge and love and respect for the animals and the bush ecosystem and gave us so many amazing experiences. Riaan showed us so much and took us on 2 amazing bush walks. Can’t recommend this highly enough and as previous reviews have said, it’s worth every penny. This was our second visit and we are already working out when we can go back.

This is the magical place I have ever visited. We spent two nights and the moment arrived we treated to shear luxury. The people that run this venue are so attentive, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Our guide Justine was simply put, FANTASTIC! He took the time to show us everything we wanted to see, no question was to silly and his knowledge was impressive. With him as our guide we saw Black Rhino, Lions, Buffalo, Kudu, Water Hog, Zebra, Hearty-beast, Ostrich, Mongoose the list goes on and on…. You do two 3 hour drives one at 0630 the the other 1630, with time in in the day to relax. The rooms as spectacular. The beds are comfortable, the layout and facilities are fantastic. It is glamping at is best and luxury is the word. There are no TVs, thank god, nor do you need when your views are as spatular as they are here. It also comes with a very stocked mini bar that is complimentary. The food is superb and they are more than happy to cater to any dietary requirements. They even go so far to design, print and present you a personalised menu that bespoke to your dietary needs. Yes this place is expansive and rarely do I say this, but this place is worth every single penny. The experiences we have had here are the things dreams are made of, I will treasure them for the rest my life. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

EMpfang, Organisation, Essen, Service war außergewöhnlich und ist jeden cent wert

Eine absolut tolle Lodge. Vom Empfang, das Hauptgebäude, die „Zelte“ einfach wie im Fil „Out of Africa“! Tolle Ranger, tolle Tierwelt, tolles Essen, tolle Drinks. Einfach hingehen, unbedingt! Alles klappt bestens, das Highlight ist der Aperitif in der Wildnis am Abend bei Sonnenuntergang.
