🥀 Location: Tollcross Park
Postcode: Glasgow G32 8TF
🥀 How to Get There:
Take the train from Partick Station (near University of Glasgow) and ride 5 stops to Carntyne Station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the rose garden.
Why Visit?
Tollcross Park is a hidden floral gem in Glasgow—especially in summer!
• There are two rose gardens in the park:
• The smaller one has a black European-style pavilion in the centre.
• Walk further and you’ll find a huge flower field bursting with colour and fragrance.
• The air is filled with the sweet scent of roses, and it’s perfect for a chill city walk, a picnic, or a photoshoot with your besties.
• Go on a sunny day and wear light-coloured clothes for that dreamy aesthetic.
Visited on: July 29 – Some blooms had faded, but most were still vibrant. The best time to go is before the weather turns colder in the next week or two!
Nearby Food Spot
Bistro Attaca – a cozy little eatery just next to the rose garden:
• Best Picks:
• Creamy mushroom pasta
• Lasagna with rich cheese layers
• Wood-fired pizza
• All made with generous portions and rich flavours—comfort food at its best!

Crookston Castle, Glasgow’s oldest –and only– stone castle crowns a quiet hill. Built in the 1400s, its walls still grip the earth. Climb the spiral stairs. At the top, the city spreads below like a patchwork quilt.
Mary, Queen of Scots once stood here. Today, sunlight warms the stones. Carved names tell stories; the wind carries them. Free to explore, always open to sky.
