Great location for me to walk around - as well as use public transportation. My room was clean and I was glad to have my own bathroom. The temperatures were nice and I only used both the fans once. When I left for the day, I utilized the pull down shades and the double curtains - which helped with the room temps in the afternoon and evening. Also, I was thankful to have an elevator to use! The fridge in the hallway was never full and although it was at the other end of the hallway from my room, it wasn't too far to walk :). The staff were nice and friendly (Kamile checked me in; and Robin helped arrange a taxi pickup to the airport for 4:30 am).

Warmest recommendation! Simple, charming guest house/hotel in a house with old Viennese architecture. Spotlessly clean, excellent price, very friendly and helfpul staff. The district has Viennese flair and a lot of bars, restaurants and nice shops around. Quiet and absolutely safe.

We found this to be a good choice for a low-cost hotel in Vienna. Very centrally located and a kind and helpful staff. The room was well-appointed for the price point and was cleaned each day. The staff went out of their way to find an extra fan for us during a heat wave and also switched our room assignment so that we could get in our room early after an overnight train ride. I found them far more helpful and courteous than staff at a higher end hotel, even. It may be helpful to know that there is no air conditioning, which is probably okay most of the time but was challenging during high temps (but still doable with a fan). The staff is only on-site during limited hours (I think 8am-6pm or maybe 8pm) and the front doors are left unlocked 24 hours. The corridors are locked once you are on your floor, but if I was a woman traveling alone and arriving back at night, I probably would not feel comfortable. I suggest the hotel consider investing in a key card entry for the front door when not staffed to increase safety.

We enjoyed our stay - the room was perfect for what we needed , the location was great ( loved being in a quiet little street where the locals live with a small supermarket at end of street and cafes nearby) But we were most impressed with the warm friendly welcome we received at reception and the ongoing information they gave when we asked- always available An older style place but that’s what we liked about Pension Lehrerhaus - definitely recommend.

Nice location and building. However, also an old building with is very poorly isolated from noise of neigbours and ongoing construction. There was a construction going on in the hotel, which went as far as having construction workers change the carpet at 9 o'clock in the morning with a lot of noise. Wasn't able to chill at the room the whole day. Doesn't seem very guest minded in my opinion.
