Visited second week April ‘25. Last week of Lent before Holy Week. Not too touristy busy. Area. We stayed in an apartment type accommodation 5 minute walk from Hotel Mediterranean near the river side. Apartment clean and neat. Nice quiet neighbourhood location off busy streets. Local shops only five minutes away to meet all needs. Supermarket Co-op.fi is particularly good. Close to several bus routes. Twenty minute walk to city centre. Apartment. Disposable paper cups, plates and plastic spoons available to use. No proper knives to prepare food, no corkscrew for bottled drinks, nor cups for hot drinks. Later discovered more suitable culinary items to use in the communal kitchen near entrance to building. Shower hot water supply very weak when other guests were using in nearby rooms. Stairs to bedroom level steep, so care must be taken descending to living space especially if you’re approaching middle age like us two! Customer service. Hotel staff couldn’t do enough to help. Friendly, appeared relaxed (despite a very busy lobby) and helpful. Offered us a complimentary breakfast on departure when we commented on shower problem. Breakfast was excellent! Retrospective feedback. We would have ideally preferred a hotel room close to their dining facilities. Would recommend for a couple but as advertised for four people with the bed settee as the second bed? It could be a squash! Tip. Local bus trip out of town to Fiesole. Bus 12 then bus 7. Lovely views over Firenze and a amphitheatre remains only 45 minute ride from city centre.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome. we got a lot of information about the location, free bicycles. The location is near the historic center of Florence. The room was comfortable and clean. The balcony and the shared spaces are nice and comfortable.

We did book 2 nights with the owner at the phone ! When we arrived they had only one night open and then went in overbooking! So we had to leave ! Heavy because I had to cancel some appointments I did before! The owner did not even apologize!! That happens actually in Florence because everyone thinks renting apartments is so easy ! If you want to give service it’s not easy! The one night we did stay at one o clock in the morning I got we had someone breaking in our apartment ! We did wake up and throw the woman out ! When we told it next morning they noticed but did nothing! Incredible situation ! We need to call the police! Because these people should not get a license !!!

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Camere pulitissime e accoglienti. Il giardino comune e il solarium sono fantastici per momenti di relax. Sei nel centro della città ma sembra di stare in una cascina di campagna. Abbiamo usufruito anche dei servizi dell'adiacente FH55 Grand Hotel Mediteraneo: garage per la nostra auto, colazione a buffet e ristorante con piatti tipici toscani. Consigliamo questo affittacamere vicino al Teatro Cartiere Carrara a Firenze e ci torneremo sicuramente in futuro.

Très bon petit hôtel proposant des chambres/ appartements, très bien placé à 15 min à pieds du coeur de Florence. Rues commerçantes à 5min. Accueil agréable et soigné, bon rapport qualité prix, je recommande !
