Barely clean, bathtub looked like it been through a war! There was hairs on the side of the bathtub that were not cleaned off.Unfortunately the area has a lot of homeless around which doesn't add any charm to the place.

I strayed at this hotel for 8 nights during a conference and will start off by saying I had none of the issues that other reviews of this hotel has suggested but there were definitely some pros and cons of using this hotel: Pros - Cheapest place you'll find by far Comfortable clean room Friendly and helpful staff Big tv Cons- Big con for me was the area. There are some cool breweries and cafes but I did not enjoy the walk to downtown. I ended up ubering everywhere I needed to go. Shower didn't work great. Outside of the hotel is a bit shabby and dated Overall I would be happy to stay again.

We were in San Diego for a baseball game and not knowing the area well we booked a room here. When we arrived I wasn't sure but after we entered our room we were just disgusted and just left and stayed somewhere else. This place pits the toe in ghetto and the most disgusting motel I have ever been to, we were there for about 15 minutes and didn't even care about a refund, just wanted OUT.

Bed felt like there was a steel bar running down the middle, probably 25 years old. Bathroom was dirty, shower head was broken and laying in the bath tub. There were two peep holes in the door clogged with toilet paper. There was a soap and champo dispenser in the shower, both empty, Place has not been painted in many years, Guests screaming and fighting, drunk, disorderly. Place should be torn down and rebuilt. I would have preferred to sleep in my car.

To start half the towels were dirty, there were big holes in a curtains, a dusty phone, the surrounding areas of the light switches and doorknobs were visibly dirty, one of lamps was leaned against the wall because it was dirty, one of the chairs was ripped in multiple places. The worst part happeend on the day of check out (before 11AM.) The cleaning lady let her self in and walked all the way in TWICE and said it was almost time for check out very rudely as if i was inconveniencing her. The second time she actually started to get the trash cans while I was still getting ready. I have never stayed at place so unprofessional and dirty.
