In a nutshell shell - if you want a hotel in a posh beach area that is clean but available on a budget, go for it. If you want real “beach resort” this is not the place. They have the infrastructure and amenities, but they restrict it - for instance, they allow water slides only 4 hours a day, and the 300 meter buggy ride to the beach is not on-demand, but only one every 30 minutes. They charge deposit for umbrella and they make you sign a letter which states makes you feel you are a high-risk customer who might steal towels and items in the room.. Buffet has a wide spread, but the quality and taste are average.
