我們是凌晨4點多到的柬埔寨機場，酒店送的接機。但其實是tutu車的接機。酒店距離機場較遠，突突車開了差不多半小時。酒店小朋友入住給打了地鋪，也送了早餐都不另外收費。但是酒店距離老市場酒吧街太遠了。包一部突突車一個下午往返老市場15美金。從老市場叫一部突突車回來單程8美金。酒店本身風景不錯，但蚊子太多，這幾晚住下來渾身都是包太可怕。衛生的話浴缸不幹凈所以一直沒用。淋浴第一晚沒熱水。其他還好。建議還是入住離中心近的酒店吧。出行方便才好。

4-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night! The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap. But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)! The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude. So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.

一下到機場，老闆娘就安排人來接機，一路到達她的旅館。老闆娘的服務態度真的是太棒了，每個細節都服務到位。幫我們換牀，問我們要吃什麼口味的早餐，早上做的早餐實在不錯，還有豐富的水果吃。早上起來，空氣清新，感受到了大自然與人的和諧，以及美麗的人文禮儀。很舒服，老闆娘也是很熱心，提出了好多問題，他都逐一給我們解答幫助服務，最後去金邊的時候，也幫忙我們叫了很棒的車。住過中國那麼多酒店，服務意識都沒有老闆娘這個服務好。時間觀念好，懂需求，有條理，熱心服務，實在太棒了！體驗到了什麼是以人為本，這才是真正做到了君子愛財，取之有道。體驗到了，深刻，很開心有這樣的人生體驗。走的時候情不自禁地給了老闆娘一個擁抱，感動，祝她生意興隆

房間乾淨整潔，很安靜，洗漱用品準備齊全，床單被褥貌似是絲織品的，親膚，略滑，很舒服，空調，電扇都有提供，住宿離吳哥窟很近，並且提供兩刀一天的自行車租借，老闆媽媽就跟咱街頭巷尾的阿姨大嬸一樣，好有意思，老闆有三個孩子，好有禮貌，早上遇見會哈嘍哈嘍的打招呼。不足的地方是沒有電視，獵奇想看看當地電視節目的估計會有些小遺憾，然後就是巷子里老能遇見野狗，第一天可能生會亂叫，不是衹有這裏這樣，整個暹粒到處都是野狗，多數還好不亂叫。客棧有兩種房間，一種是兩層的，衹有樓上有空調，上下樓需要藉助狹小樓梯，不推薦，因為樓上即便開了空調，樓下也非常熱，經過一夜第二天早上早去去吳哥窟，下樓仍是瞬間一身汗，推薦住那個靠裡麪的平層。總的來説非常有性價比的客棧。
