My husband, 2 sons and I stayed at the Inn at Northrup Station recently while in Portland visiting our daughter. The location worked out very well for us and everyone enjoyed the breakfast. The first night, our bathroom door squeaked when we got up in the middle of the night to use the facilities waking others in the room. I talked to the front desk in the morning and they came in and gave it some oil which worked perfectly to silence it during the night. Very much appreciated! The beds seemed smaller than normal queen sized beds but we had no way of verifying that. Luckily there was a pull out sofa in our room so one of our sons slept on that after the first night. The bed did seem smaller than our queen at home to my husband and me as well.

Enjoy Portland from this centrally located, meticulously maintained Victorian home. Just steps away from trendy 23rd St, this cozy independent home lets you truly experience Portland. Original character with tasteful upgrades provides both comfort and style to make your vacation memorable.Please note parking is either in the paid public parking lot or metered street parking only.The spaceParking: Please note parking is either limited metered street parking or paid public parking. Metered street parking at $1.60/hour can be fed with the "Parking Kitty" app. The public parking lot which is less than 50yards from the house is $12.50/day paid every entry and can be paid through Citifyd app or at parking meter inside the parking lot.Noise: We live in the basement with our two small kids. While we will take every care to respect your comfort, it is possible you could hear the kids talk, laugh and cry. But since they will be in school/daycare most of the day, we hope this will not compromise your comfort.Access: The house has about 20 steps from the street to the guest unit entrance. The first set of stairs from the street is common to guests and hosts. This is the only common space.Guest Unit: You will have exclusive access to the main and 2nd floors of this 3-story independent home. This section has a separate entrance accessed only by you and your group during the stay. We, the owners, stay in the basement with its own separate entrance.The main floor includes a formal living room, media room, kid's playroom, dining plus kitchen, and a full bath. The 2nd floor includes two bedrooms, laundry, and a full bath. The kitchen opens into a small beautiful private backyard. Experience cooking on the Aga stove in this fully stocked kitchen.One of the bedrooms has a king mattress, smart TV, and a reading nook. The bed is a 14" memory foam mattress. This bedroom is cooled only with central AC/ heater.The other bedroom has a queen bed, a TV with Roku, and a personal work desk. The mattress is 16" memory foam. This bedroom also has a window AC, in addition to central AC/heater.The media room has a 75" QLED TV with an impressive sound system to enjoy your favorite shows/movies. We provide Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube TV for live channels.There is one corner room in the main unit that is locked from guest access. Owner's will NOT access this room during your stay.Guest accessGuests will have full and independent access to the main floor and 2nd floor of the house through a separate entrance. Immaculate 1890s home, 2200 sqft of warm brick, leather, polished wood, brass, fine art. Separate Bedrooms sleep 9, plus a pullout sofa. Prime location in downtown NW Portland's Nob Hill/Slabtown neighborhood. Quickly walk to NW 23rd street's restaurant row or to Forest Park trails. Drive 5 minutes to Blazers Games. 5 Minutes to Timbers Games. 20 Minutes to Nike. Lots of amenities, lots of rooms for privacy, lots of space for gathering.Christopher's Review: Overall rating: 5-Star: "Can't say enough good things about Leah and the property. It's the coolest house I've stayed in and Leah was almost immediate to respond at all times if needed. The one special request I made was accommodated well beyond what I even hoped. 5 stars across the board for sure."Cozy heated wood floors, gas fireplace; sliding glass wall opens to peaceful private outdoor living area with deck, patio, and fruit garden. Big open kitchen. Beautifully furnished. Perfect for family events, business trips, groups events. We've hosted many wedding groups, birthday reunions, film crews, even famous bands! Walk to groceries, breweries, Timber's games, Portland's best bars, restaurants and shops. Short drive to everywhere that matters. Public transportation 1/2 block. 3 blocks to hike in Forest Park and 3 the other way to NW 23rd strolling, shopping & dining. Don't be fooled by houses that say they sleep 10, and have a bunch of beds and pull outs crammed into 2 bedrooms. Enjoy separate bedrooms and three full bathrooms, two separate TV sitting rooms, a wet bar, deck with grill, patio and garden with table and chairs with room for the whole group to enjoy Portland.Public review: This is a great house in a fantastic location!Public review: Great house in a great location!
