On our property we rent a small, nicely furnished holiday home with a garden corner for 2 people. It was renovated in 2015 and completely refurbished. It is located in a very quiet single-family housing estate.Parking on the street is not a problem.The property is in a very quiet location. Elbe Cycle Path, steamer pier, ferry, tram, bus, S-Bahn, shops, pharmacy and 2 outdoor pools are all within 1 km. Saxon Switzerland and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains are half an hour's drive away, or can be reached by S-Bahn.The tram takes you to the old town of Dresden in half an hour. Pillnitz Castle is in 20 min. To reach footpath.There are many leisure activities in the area. Elberadweg, nudist bath, Wostra outdoor pool, steam tours to the Czech Republic or the Elbe up to Meißen and further. Downtown Dresden is always worth a visit. Either the beautifully designed old town with the Semper Opera, the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger, many bars and cafes or a trip to the Neustadt district with many different pubs and a hustle and bustle until late at night.For shopping you will find many shops both in the old town and in the trendy district of Neustadt.Our Elbe Sandstone Mountains and Saxon Switzerland offer many interesting destinations for hikers and cyclists. For example, you reach after about 25 minutes walk, through the summer cool pleasant Friedrichgrund, the castle Pillnitz and the nearby station of the Elbdampfer. From here you can choose by boat to Saxon Switzerland or Meissen your destinations. Or take the bus and explore the Dresden area! The Schönfelder Hochland can also be explored from us! For inquisitive people there are in the village the small farmer museum Reitzendorf! Many trails are also passable with the stroller and thus also for the little ones a nice experience.The apartment has a bedroom (1 double bed), a bathroom with shower and toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. The friendly and bright apartment located in the basement (ground floor almost) built our house on the hillside. The Non smoking apartment is ideal for 2 people; by means of a pull-out bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed can sleep if necessary, up to 4 people. And individuals are welcome. Bookings can be made from 3 nights. The apartment costs based on usage time from 35 euros per day for 2 people. - - For children: a nice playground is located 300 meters away!Comfortably furnished and quiet residential location, the necessary complement to all kinds of activities from here in Dresden and its beautiful surroundings. The living room has large windows to the sunny garden, which we gain for guest access and seating. The living room has pronounced coziness with 2 armchairs and sofa, satellite TV, radio, eclectic selection of books and information. For this purpose, the kitchen is modern and properly equipped,a cooking to allow at home.Our house in the district of Dresden Rockau is situated in an excellent location at the top of the Elbe valley slope about 170 m above the Elbe. This opens a few meters away stunning vistas over the Elbe valley of Dresden and Pirna up to the mountains on the Kamm. Moreover Rockau is surrounded by a vast hiking area and in the conservation area 'banks of the Elbe in Dresden-Pirna and Schönfeld highlands'.
