I want to write a fair and balanced review of this place as I too am a small business owner and do not want to harm a small businesses ability to be successful especially these days. However, my experience left me feeling terrible and we didn’t even get to stay a night here. I booked a room for my husband and I and 2 kids for one night. Mistakenly I must have not booked for the 2 kids and when we arrived late we were met with an unfriendly man who said ‘who are you?’ . I was with my 3 year old son and he explained he could not accomodate the 4 of us because it was a room booked for 2 only. Fair enough - I said we would try to find some where else. However, after searching elsewhere everything was fully booked and we had no where to stay. At 8.37pm I rang Jacaranda BnB to ask if my son and I could take the room (my husband and 5 year old would sleep at a friends place on their couch). The owner said ‘no’ we are closed. We are leaving that room vacant.’ He then hung up. Bottom line is that I paid for a night there and wasn’t allowed to stay with my 3 year old son. This doesn’t seem right to me that we understood the policy of only 2 adults and tried to work it out that only 2 of us would stay but we we’re refused a bed for the night. We had to drive 2 hours back to Perth as everything else was booked out in Busselton, Bunbury and Dunsborough except for the Abbey Beach Hotel for $649 a night which we couldn’t afford. No kindness, no empathy, no apologies. I don’t understand why my son and I could not stay there while my husband and other son stayed at a friends house, yet I still have to pay. Also noting that I am of Australian Asian descent and based on reading other reviews this might be the reason why they weren’t accomodating. They’ve gotten rave reviews from other people so perhaps this is the reason they were not kind. I cannot think of any other reason given we paid them $160 for the night, accepted their policy of only 2 people but where turned away. I will be asking for a refund for sure as would anyone I would guess in this circumstance.

”Stayed” there yesterday. Checked in right on time, met the cleaner, who was very nice. Parking was quite confusing, as I needed to get a garage door opener from inside, but it all worked as it should. This is a typical, nice Australian house that's been converted to a small hotel. First impressions were great. It all looked really nice. Bed was too soft was the only downside I could find. I then set off for the day to explore. I got back at 8:30pm, pizza in hand, looking forward to a quiet, cozy night before a big day and an important international meeting the next morning. Greeted by a large group of people who had taken over the house. Mind you, this is an adults only place, which I usually interpret to be quiet, especially given the good reviews and luxurious feel. I think it probably usually works out, but unluckily for me, it didn't yesterday. I'd just returned from swimming and was looking forward to unwinding. Instead, this large foreign group was cooking smelly food in the main kitchen, loudly gathering and drinking vodka from massive bottles, and had turned the thermostats up to 28 (!!!) degrees. It was literally 33 degrees outside a few hours earlier. I live in one of the coldest regions on earth and have never set my thermostat past 24. It was an absolute sauna in here. They asked if I wanted to join them to drink, I politely declined, went to my room, ate my pizza, took a shower, and got ready for bed. Quiet hours are posted as 10pm, so I patiently waited until then, though had packed my bags ready to go. Reflecting back, I think they likely thought they'd booked out the whole house. That's the best way I can interpret this. I was traveling solo, and this was a large group. NOBODY from the property is onsite to assist. They leave a phone number to contact if issues, but I couldn't call with my international sim. They brag about their high ranking and ”as seen on TV”. With all this bravado, one would think they'd leave a way for international guests to contact them. I tried through **********, i tried through the Baudin website contact form, I emailed multiple times, and I added their number to whatsapp (where they had an active account) and messaged multiple times. I also asked the large group to stop, but they didn't. I'm not going to escalate that further whilst alone in a foreign country. I'm also not paying for a 4 star hotel to be a babysitter, security guard, or parent. Why would this hotel allow a large group to book every room in the property but 1 - the main master suite? Ridiculous. I ended up leaving shortly after 10pm and tried every property in Busselton AND Bunbury (45mins away). All were closed with no human contact. I then ended up driving 3 hours north to Perth through the pitch black with bad eyesight, and going to multiple hotels before finding one for 300/night - where I'm currently writing this review. 挺方便，還蠻私人的，每個房間都有自己的私家車位，雙數房間車位基本都在房間門口。吃飯什麼的開車到市區7分鐘路程，酒店裡也有餐廳，如果要在酒店吃pizza建議不如直接開車去domino買，好吃還便宜。性價比在這種小鎮上還不錯。

Lanterns retreat is lovely! Located near the town centre of Dunsborough, and within walking distance to the beach. We stayed 2 nights in a beautiful spacious room at the lodge. Comfy bed, bar fridge, wifi and a spacious bathroom with a bath. Very clean! Serge is a great guy, and has created a very welcoming vibe.

We loved our stay here. We'd booked a 3 bedroom chalet but that wasn't available so we were given 2 x 2 bedroom chalets with a connecting door. Perfect. Two living areas. Two kitchens. We could do our own thing. And then there's the environment. You are surrounded by bush with other chalets hidden behind trees. Utterly tranquil - if one ignores the magpies singing to wake you up and the sunset laughter of the kookaburras. There's even a small swimming pool in which to cool off after a hot summer day. We'd stay again.

Just spent a few nights at this caravan park and we were not disappointed.Booking online no problems.Discounted price because it was midweek.Sites were very small and cramped and ours was in a corner that we had to reverse sideways into but we made it.Neighbour said he watched 5 lots of caravans try to get in that spot with no success.Water and power and beautiful lush lawned areas under trees.Makes a nice change to have lawn and we also had a shadecoth mat for our seats outside the caravan,Showers were new and excetionally clean.Pressure wasnt great but good enough to do the trick.Girls at the front reception were very helpful and friendly,Thanks ladies.Communal BBQ area overlooking the beach was tunning and always packed.Sunset views and lovely lawned area.Creek running along the back of the park.If you are getting a cabin then you will have stunning views but you will be lucky to be able to park your car if its a big one.Very close together,Overall I was really happy and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.Oh and NO POOL for those who want one but youve got a stunning beach across the road and great for novice snorkellers and kids

We went as a group for a yoga retreat . The rooms were comfortable with ample space in the bathrooms and lounge areas. The mattress was super comfy and linen was clean. There were ample towels and toiletries to make this weekend stress free and homely. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who plans yoga retreats. The yoga studio was well heated, as it was 14C when we visited in November. The grounds are well maintained and there are enough parking spaces to accomodate visitors. Such a gem to find in Yallingup..!!

I love this holiday park, but when an unfortunate incident occurred with a power outage, nobody in the park was given any option other than check out or wait and see. With power outage for 24 hours over Easter Sunday and chalets unlikely to be taken by new visitors, the least they could have done would be to allow the customer a choice to see whether power came back on rather than early check out. After nearly 24 hours we had no alternative but to cut the holiday short or spend another expensive night in darkness with no shower. For some bizarre reason, the rude staff on the front desk didn’t seem to comprehend this, but reluctantly extended our checkout to midday. Power was still not restored and didn’t look likely, so we left. After begging for a refund for the last night, we were told when we left ‘don’t come back!’ Such a shame when Kelly & the other staff on site are nice & friendly as others let you down.

I want to write a fair and balanced review of this place as I too am a small business owner and do not want to harm a small businesses ability to be successful especially these days. However, my experience left me feeling terrible and we didn’t even get to stay a night here. I booked a room for my husband and I and 2 kids for one night. Mistakenly I must have not booked for the 2 kids and when we arrived late we were met with an unfriendly man who said ‘who are you?’ . I was with my 3 year old son and he explained he could not accomodate the 4 of us because it was a room booked for 2 only. Fair enough - I said we would try to find some where else. However, after searching elsewhere everything was fully booked and we had no where to stay. At 8.37pm I rang Jacaranda BnB to ask if my son and I could take the room (my husband and 5 year old would sleep at a friends place on their couch). The owner said ‘no’ we are closed. We are leaving that room vacant.’ He then hung up. Bottom line is that I paid for a night there and wasn’t allowed to stay with my 3 year old son. This doesn’t seem right to me that we understood the policy of only 2 adults and tried to work it out that only 2 of us would stay but we we’re refused a bed for the night. We had to drive 2 hours back to Perth as everything else was booked out in Busselton, Bunbury and Dunsborough except for the Abbey Beach Hotel for $649 a night which we couldn’t afford. No kindness, no empathy, no apologies. I don’t understand why my son and I could not stay there while my husband and other son stayed at a friends house, yet I still have to pay. Also noting that I am of Australian Asian descent and based on reading other reviews this might be the reason why they weren’t accomodating. They’ve gotten rave reviews from other people so perhaps this is the reason they were not kind. I cannot think of any other reason given we paid them $160 for the night, accepted their policy of only 2 people but where turned away. I will be asking for a refund for sure as would anyone I would guess in this circumstance.

This turned out to be a nice surprise. We booked at the last minute because our other accommodation was cancelled at the last minute. We enjoyed the 1 bedroom beach apartment! Even though we didn’t have a beach view, it felt very private and was so close to the beach that we walked there barefoot many times. We enjoyed beach walks and swims. The apartment was perfect for cooking our own meals, so even though the accommodation is rather pricy, we could offset that by self catering. We had breakfast included in our deal and that was delicious.

Pullman Bunker Bay has the potential to be a world class destination resort like Bederra Island or Qualia resort located on the eastern coast of Australia. The reason for my average rating purely came come to the soft product or lack of it which is basically the service elements.The pullman bunker bay is located in a Beautiful part of Western Australia with its own semi private beach . The villas rooms are bit dated but still very nice and comfortable, the shared facilities of lobby and restaurant are also very nice and well maintained. Where this resort falls down in is the service elements in Housekeeping and Food and Beverage. We stayed 4 nights at the resort and the housekeeping was never consistent sometimes the did the bed others day they didn’t do the bed same with the toilets sometimes they were cleaned sometimes they weren’t. The ladies working in Housekeeping are very nice and friendly but seemed to be understaffed and not trained enough. In Food and beverage we visited the restaurant every day for breakfast and once for dinner. The food elements were not bad in such but everyday the breakfast food was the same and very generic being so close to Margaret River you would think that they would incorporate some local produce . The service or lack of it is what really made the entire f&b experience fall down at breakfast they seemed to have enough staff but they all seemed to be milling around their bar area talking amongst themselves rather then serving the guest. There is no service or engagement at all at breakfast time which is very disappointing especially for a 5 star resort. The potential is there for Pullman Bunker bay to me a real world class destination resort but if they ant to compete with the like of Qualia they need to have a solid look at there staff training and engagement. P.S a special mention to the Fijian staff who worked in the Front office and buggie drivers they were always friendly and enthusiastic and engaging.

這是我們第二次入住這裏,每次5點在家庭房。今年我們得到了一個“更好的”房間,因爲我們有適合5人但只有4人旅行的牀。然而,這個房間似乎比另一個房間小了一點。去年,我的女兒和我們一起,第五個人不得不睡在沙發牀上。不過,對於一家5口人來說,價格還是很合理的,他們提供冰箱、微波爐和餐具/陶器。我們也可以步行到碼頭。船主靈活,可容納。如果沒人要你的房間,他允許延遲退房。明年還會再來!

We have stayed in big 4 parks a lot and this one is absolutely fantastic. Staff are really friendly and facilities are great. Camp kitchen has oven along with all the regular items. Big pool and stuff to do for kids. Caravan sites are spacious and flat. We loved it here.

”Stayed” there yesterday. Checked in right on time, met the cleaner, who was very nice. Parking was quite confusing, as I needed to get a garage door opener from inside, but it all worked as it should. This is a typical, nice Australian house that's been converted to a small hotel. First impressions were great. It all looked really nice. Bed was too soft was the only downside I could find. I then set off for the day to explore. I got back at 8:30pm, pizza in hand, looking forward to a quiet, cozy night before a big day and an important international meeting the next morning. Greeted by a large group of people who had taken over the house. Mind you, this is an adults only place, which I usually interpret to be quiet, especially given the good reviews and luxurious feel. I think it probably usually works out, but unluckily for me, it didn't yesterday. I'd just returned from swimming and was looking forward to unwinding. Instead, this large foreign group was cooking smelly food in the main kitchen, loudly gathering and drinking vodka from massive bottles, and had turned the thermostats up to 28 (!!!) degrees. It was literally 33 degrees outside a few hours earlier. I live in one of the coldest regions on earth and have never set my thermostat past 24. It was an absolute sauna in here. They asked if I wanted to join them to drink, I politely declined, went to my room, ate my pizza, took a shower, and got ready for bed. Quiet hours are posted as 10pm, so I patiently waited until then, though had packed my bags ready to go. Reflecting back, I think they likely thought they'd booked out the whole house. That's the best way I can interpret this. I was traveling solo, and this was a large group. NOBODY from the property is onsite to assist. They leave a phone number to contact if issues, but I couldn't call with my international sim. They brag about their high ranking and ”as seen on TV”. With all this bravado, one would think they'd leave a way for international guests to contact them. I tried through **********, i tried through the Baudin website contact form, I emailed multiple times, and I added their number to whatsapp (where they had an active account) and messaged multiple times. I also asked the large group to stop, but they didn't. I'm not going to escalate that further whilst alone in a foreign country. I'm also not paying for a 4 star hotel to be a babysitter, security guard, or parent. Why would this hotel allow a large group to book every room in the property but 1 - the main master suite? Ridiculous. I ended up leaving shortly after 10pm and tried every property in Busselton AND Bunbury (45mins away). All were closed with no human contact. I then ended up driving 3 hours north to Perth through the pitch black with bad eyesight, and going to multiple hotels before finding one for 300/night - where I'm currently writing this review.
