This cottage is very quaint and well equipped. Nice location. The only problem we had was trying to figure out how to work the oven, even with the manual.

Many good things to say about our stay we had a fantastic time. The house was so clean and tidy when we arrived. The sauna was lovely to go in after a dip in the loch. However, could do with a. few more cooking utensils and the wifi didn't alwasy hold 8 p

AAlyseFirst let me say that the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. It pains me that to even write this but I thought fellow travelers should hear my experience. First, there are two aye stays in Inverness. My gps took me to the wrong one first. That was awkward. After I finally figured it out, the place was very cutely decorated with Scottish and Loch Ness decor. Contactless check in was easy however a board with everyone’s name and room numbers does not feel super safe for me a solo female traveler. But over all easy enough. Next I stayed in room 7 which is up a flight of stairs so make sure you pack light! (Which you should do anyway in Scotland.) My room had just been renovated with new carpet but it smelled like off gassing and I had to open the window (which was broken) there was a radiator for heat which I had no idea how to use. So it got a little chilly. Now here comes the problems: the rooms are very close together and the walls are paper thin. I was kept up until 3 in the morning hearing conversations and snoring. We were only given the choice of receiving breakfast between 7:30-8:30 in the dining room. So I woke up earlier than I would have liked to eat breakfast. Which was just okay. Nothing too outstanding to write about but again the hostess was very sweet. Overall I could see that they’re trying their best. But I would recommend sound machines in each of the rooms or something so people can have a good nights sleep. The location was pretty good and just over the bridge from the high street.

Nnexus_fmsI would want to highlight this b & b was lovely. My host, Stewart was warmly welcomed. His hospitality was fantastic. This unit has a great view overlooking the loch. The room, amnities, food and service was tip notch. I would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be returning guests on our next trip to Loch Ness.

LLi-SanWhile the place is a little rundown, it was relatively clean and we had the extension to ourselves. Thus space was not an issue. Bathroom was nicely heated. Quiet neighbourhood yet just a short walk to eating places.
