Over the dune, a hop skip and a jump from Harbour Island’s world famous Pink Sands Beach, on a quiet street, sits Kings Surf Shack – the new wave of surfing style. Kings Surf Shack is the epitome of laid back luxury. Kings Surf Shack is a hippy chic eco-friendly home with a palm tree filled garden and a turtle pond. It’s the perfect place to relax in one of the front porch rocking chairs or take a siesta in a hammock while the ocean breeze gently cools you.Upon entering you are met with an eclectic great room with 1950s inspired wall paper, retro sofas and an extensive gallery of Bahamian and International original artwork.The gourmet kitchen is whimsical with Big Chill Retro Pink Appliances and earthy pendants from Tulum.The great room leads to the generous lush outdoor living space that evokes the surfer lifestyle with its 25m lap pool, hot tub and playful light fixtures. Next to the outdoor covered area sits a 1984 VW Bubble Gum Pink Bus that has been retrofitted into a private food truck (the outdoor kitchen) (with grill, wok burner and undercounter fridges). Chill out in one of the swings that hang over the social area of the pool, which are idyllic for relaxing day or night or, when the sun goes down put your feet up and enjoy watching your favourite movies on the remote screen with laser projector.Kings Surf Shack has 5 bedrooms (with a loft), 5.5 bathrooms, pantry and cozy TV room/kids area. The main house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master is replete with a king size wicker bed, walk in closet and master bathroom with pink and green Cuban tiles and a double shower that leads to an outdoor bathtub and shower. Next to the master is the Surfer Girl Room with four poster queen bed and ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom is the Bunk Room with a fun barn wood fort for children to enjoy.Annexed to the main house is the Guest Suite with a king size bed, loft with two twin beds, ensuite bathroom, sitting room (with TV) and coffee station.Above the outdoor covered area is the Guest Cottage, with king size bed, TV, full kitchen with Big Chill Retro Yellow Appliances and balcony hanging over the pool.On top of the Guest Cottage sits a Crows Nest with fabulous Ocean Views and a king size day bed for sunbathing or stargazing.Under the Guest Cottage sits the mini gym with a Peloton Bike, Yoga Mats and a few free weights.Behind the Guest Cottage is an outdoor Shower and bathroom.The entire home is powered during the day by Solar Power. It has a Rolls Royce back up generator and a Reverse Osmosis System with 10,000 gallon cistern providing drinking water from every faucet.The Kings Surf Shack is like no other. Waters Edge Cottage is on Bay Street, right next door to Valentines Marina. It has fantastic walkability to favorite restaurants- The Landing, The Rock House, Davine, Cocoa Coffee house and trendy bar The Elbow Room. Pink Sands beach is a quick 5 min walk away too. The cottage has a King bedroom and a loft bedroom with lounge and queen bed, a Jack and Jill bathroom is shared between them. There is also a half bathroom and a fantastic indoor/outdoor shower with gorgeous views of the bay.The kitchen, which opens up onto a covered outdoor porch, is spacious and well stocked to prepare any meals at home. Dining is either under the stars, on the sun deck on the edge of the bay, or undercover on the porch.The porch is outdoor living at its best, decked with lounge chairs and cushion clad benches, a great place to read a book, play a board game or to just enjoy the sunset from.The lounge with its comfy 3 seater couch, smart TV and windows that over look the garden, is another great place to be.We have a small library room where you will find many a good book to read or board game to play , and just off that is the small laundry that’s tucked away discreetly. This cottage is full of charm, is squeaky clean and everything you are looking for in a holiday rental or longer stay.At no extra charge to you I include daily housekeeping for a couple hours a day, however I kindly as that you leave the housekeepers a tip. Seabreeze is an exceptional rental in a truly exceptional setting. This high-end luxury home with separate guest cottage can be booked either as a 3-bed/3-bath (for up to 6 people) or 5-bed/5-bath rental (for parties of 10). The price quoted here is for booking the main house only. If your party is more than 6 please ask for an updated quotation to include the guest cottage. The additional rental for the guest cottage is $500/ night. We have a single rate only for Xmas/New Year. The guest cottage is never rented out separately. We do try to be flexible on our minimum stay settings so it is ALWAYS worth asking if we can accommodate. For check-in or check-out on a Sunday we add a $200 supplement. The main house has 3 king ensuite bedrooms (sleeps 6).The guest cottage gives you an extra 2 bedrooms (1 king ensuite and 1 twin ensuite)The twin beds are trundle beds which gives us the option to pull out 2 more singles, although space will be limited. Sometimes we get requests to see if we can accommodate 11 or 12 - there is no additional charge but it just means we have the pull outs if needed.The property has a private dock and comes equipped with AC, reverse osmosis water, generator, cable, wi-fi, maid service, and many other amenities. It has all sorts of useful snippets of information which can help with your holiday planning. In the Great Room there is a high-tech kitchen with breakfast bar making this a very social space. The extendable dining table can seat up to 12 in comfort. A state of the art TV and media centre is the focal point in the seating area for evening entertainment or sitting quietly on one of the terraces and experience some of the most magnificent sunsets in the world. Seabreeze is elegant, comfortable and spacious, integrating naturally with the wrap around pool, waterfall and inviting sun deck for perfect inside/outside living. Set against a backdrop of a beautiful, secluded gardens are the uninterrupted views of the sea just 100' away where you can sit, relax and enjoy watching the activity on the water. The detached Guest Cottage offers an optional 2 further bedroom en-suites and a private outdoor sitting area which is under a pergola supporting a beautiful array of tropical flowering shrubs.Situated almost on the water's edge Seabreeze has its own private dock with slips to accommodate boats up to 120'. Please ask about dockage fees if you have a boat. Just a short 5-minute cart ride and you can be on the famous Pink Sands Beach where you can take a leisurely walk, jog, swim or just lay back and enjoy paradise. For the evening perhaps a recommended private chef could cook you a delicious supper of locally caught fish or lobster in your own kitchen. Daily direct flights depart from Miami, Ft Lauderdale and Nassau to North Eleuthera Airport.
