Reviews Search reviews Nathan Morrison 5/5 just now on Google Our party of six stayed here two nights and we can't say enough good things about the rooms, the staff, the breakfast and the restaurant! Check in and out was friendly and easy. The rooms are spacious, clean, bright, and come with a fan, kettle and biscuits, a comfy bed and lots of pillows. The bathroom has an amazing shower. We ate at the restaurant on site, Chapter Twenty, both nights. The first night we had Dylan take care of us. He was amazing! He informed us we wouldn't have him the 2nd night but the manager said she would make sure we had someone friendly. The next night we started out with Kevin and ended up with Leo. Both were friendly as promised! Leo took great care of us. Dylan even popped in to say Hi and to check on Leo. We had a great night. The food and service was awesome! We wish Lro luck on his next great adventure, for after 5 years here he is moving to the Canary Islands. This is his last weekend. We know he will do well and will be missed here! We didn't use the pool as it closed before we got in each day. There is a Circle K real close and a 10-minute walk into town, or to see the Donegal Castle. Their breakfast each morning has been great. Lots of options and a home-cooked taste, especially of the scrambled eggs and bacon. Highly recommend!

After a long trip, we arrived at this hotel and my impression was not great. I rang the hotel early in the day to say that it would not be there until late and could we have evening dinner tomorrow instead of tonight. The person who answered said that I had no dinner booked and it took a while to resolve the matter. The 2nd was that I asked for 2 wine glasses to be left in the room. I asked this man as well but when I arrived, there was still no glasses in the room. This is poor attention to detail. There certainly was no ”Cead Mile Failte” from the receptionist when I arrived. He genuinely seemed like he would prefer to be in bed than saying hello to guests. The room on the 2nd floor was comfortable. 2 twin beds, 2 comfortable chairs, a very good shower/bathroom area and the room itself was decent. However it got quite warm during the night. I would have reservations staying in this hotel if it was a hot day. Yes you can open the window and pray that it is not that noisy. Breakfast was very odd. It is served in the conference room. The seating and tables are lovely but where you get your food is like it is a school/prison canteen. The contrasts could not have been more different. Service was ok if slightly indifferent. However along came Natasha who was so friendly and went out of her way to help. She is one of two reasons why I gave this hotel four instead of three stars. There is a lot of reasons why this hotel is very average. The other was Patricia. As part of this package, we had evening dinner on a Saturday evening. We had to eat in the restaurant as the bar was fully booked. Patricia went out of her way to make sure we were looked after, constantly asking if we were ok while other staff just walked around doing nothing. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was decent as well. The swimming pool is lovely and it is refreshing to see that the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all worked. The lady at reception was very attentive and explained everything which is great. Again as we left, the receptionist felt like he had better things to do. There was no ”how was the stay”. It was goodbye and your bill is paid. There is certainly a number of things this hotel can do better but thankfully they have a few star performers. Pity about some others though.

We went to the Sand house for a short break… just something away from routine… it was great..our room. … 332 was just lovely. Very spacious and above all extremely quiet… just what we needed. We were in the restaurant both nights. Oh my goodness we weren’t disappointed. Service exceptional and food amazing.Seafood fresh and great… Bar staff are so fantastic too. Nothing is a problem… Only thing I would say is , the inside of the dining room windows really do need a good clean. Thank you for a great weekend. Hopefully we will return very soon.

我選擇麗是因爲我以前在其他地方是他們的快樂客戶。 這次,當我經過長途汽車駕駛到達時,最初對位置(吵鬧?)和外部外觀(小?)感到失望。 事實證明我錯了(不要從封面上判斷這本書......):酒店剛剛進行了全面翻新,乾淨,相當現代的房間充滿了所有必要的設施(我選擇了高級)。良好的Wi-Fi。 酒店已經訂滿了,但工作人員 - 顯然訓練有素 - 妥善管理了情況。無論如何,我從來沒有感到痛苦。 早餐不錯,種類多樣。 我也有機會使用他們的餐廳,良好的餐點,合理的價格,沒有問題。 絕對推薦,我會回來的。

We stayed on the 2nd of October. Our overall stay was okay. The room was nice enough, maybe a bit dated. The mattress was extremely firm and my partner had an horrendous nights sleep and woke up with a sore back, but it’s hard to get a mattress to suit everyone. We went out about letterkenny and upon returning to the hotel for the night we decided to go to the bar for one more drink before bed. We walked into the bar and staff told us ‘sorry we’re closed, but the residents bar will be opening now, feel free to get a drink out there’. When we walked into the reception, there was no one behind the desk for nearly 5 minutes. When the young fella eventually did come out, we asked for drinks and his reply was a big sigh, followed by ‘I’ve an awful lot to do’. We couldn’t believe it. We did not press the matter further as we would have just felt so uncomfortable sitting there. But for a four star hotel refusing paying customers one drink is absolutely appalling. Safe to say we will not be back.
