我們非常喜歡這家酒店,但想警告其他人不要以過高的成本預訂露台房間。我們以爲我們會用露台爲自己準備套房-這是一個大錯誤。套房和酒店很可愛,我會再次入住。位置非常好,因爲酒店很中心,但剛好遠離鎮上的主要噪音。房間很可愛 - 空調,乾淨,寬敞,安靜。早餐很好,餐廳的晚餐也很好。問題是我們額外支付了糟糕的露台。雖然它的大小不錯,但絕對看不到--只看到幾米之外的其他建築物的高牆!我想垃圾箱或廚房門在底部。我們到前台投訴,被告知由於下午4點之後我們無法更換房間 - 工作人員對此不感興趣。我問所有的露台房間是否都能看到這種景色,並被告知是!!!所有的露台房間都在酒店後面--看着牆壁。我吃驚地發現酒店對這些露台收費太高--它們真的只是吸菸區(一張非常普通的桌子和椅子上都配備了菸灰缸)。如果你在網站上看這張照片,它意味着一個美麗、通風的露台。雖然我沒有想到從我的露台看到大海--我確實認爲,從這裏看海可能比關閉一些平坦的牆壁更好。我很沮喪,我們爲此付出了這麼多,並想警告其他人不要被誘惑預訂!

sehr gut gelegenes Stadthotel im Standard der Mercure-Kette. Freundliche Begrüßung, Zimmerbesichtigung - alles prima. Unser Raum 100 war ruhig und bietet einen Blick auf den Innenhof zwischen Hotel und Seniorenresidenz. Sehr gut ist, dass auch Parkplätze vorhanden sind. Klare Empfehlung für einen Stadtbesuch.

We have stayed in The Nouveau Monde every year since it opened and have always had a wonderful stay. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. The breakfasts offer a very good choice and meals in the restaurant in the evening are excellent. The only comment we would make is that perhaps the towels in the bathroom are rather thin and need replacing. Also larger shower towels would be nice.

Very disappointed with the service in this hotel. We are staying here for nearly two weeks and the staff at the reception is quite rude when we have an issue like not enough water bottles in the room (they gave us two instead of 4 when we are two adults and two children); phone not working; very small duvet to share for two children; .The children sleeping on the sofa bed have only one very narrow duvet to share and we asked for a second one but the next day it was removed. Our phone in the room does not work therefore we couldn’t call the reception. There is a loud ventilation sound coming from the bathroom which started on the second day. It doesn’t appear to be the A/C as it does not work either. Camille at the reception is very pleasant and polite, so is Yassin. But the rest of the team at the reception is quite rude and instead of telling us they will find a solution or apologize for the mistakes made by the cleaning ladies or issues we have had in the room they decide to argue with us and they say this is your version I don’t have the one of the staff. This type of attitude coming from a manager is even more disappointing. Not professional at all and makes us feel uncomfortable. A manager should not argue with customers but instead make them feel welcomed, safe and understood. The lady in charge at the restaurant in the evening was having a go at the waiters in front of us customers and laughing out loud at their mistakes, sighing in dispair at them. All in front of us. Very very unprofessional. Two of these waiters, very polite and kind to us seemed to be learning and were doing well it seemed, at least they were professional and polite, unlike their supervisor who was diminishing them in fromt of people. Really put us off our meal. One receptionist, a young woman, who did help us with our duvet issue, hardly greeted us when we entered the hotel in the evening. This is a 4 star hotel and very surprising behavior from the staff. She also made the entire reception stink of what seemed to be a humidity issue with clothes. I told her about the smell, unpleasant when you enter the hotel, without realizing the odor actually came from her. She is human but it shouldn’t really happen in a 4 star hotel, when you welcome clients. This morning the actual manager told me his colleague at the reception did not have time to tell me to see my issues with him as she had many other customers to deal with. She could have politely told me, Madam I don’t have to capacity to help you now but I will make sure the manager reaches out to you. This is high season, so there should be more than one person at the reception or at least have the clients directed to the manager immediately for these kind of situations instead of rebuffed rudely. When I asked to have the contact of the direction of the hotel, the manager told me and that after shouting at me down the phone and arguing with me, that he could not provide me with that information and I should write to

I have tried most hotels in Brest. This one I find the most comfortable and friendliest. If you are visiting or on a business trip, it is very central and even has an excellent restaurant Nautilus where I always go now. This is the place I will stay from now on.

非常友好的工作人員。房間大小適中,有需要的一切,牀也很好。位置好,適合在聖馬洛渡輪後或之前停留。非常漂亮的花園和空間感。現場的餐廳非常好,雖然套餐在某些時期不會改變。有點開車到其他選擇。

We had an awful experience staying here during the holidays. First off they have NO services - they do not help with bags (my husband was very sick and they did not care). They have no room service even though they have 2 restaurants in the hotel (how hard can that be), they give you one small bottle of water in the room and would NOT bring up any additional and told us to come get it from lobby. There is no mini bar - basically zero amenities. How this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel?? This needs to change as they are charging premium prices for ZERO service. They also have no shampoo, conditioner, shower gel in the bathrooms and don’t even have it for sale, claiming the one bar of soap “does all”. Even the likes of Holiday Inn, Motel 6 etc have basic toiletries and more amenties at less than half the price of what they charge. Worst of all they refused to call us a taxi to leave - the front desk handed me a list of phone numbers knowing we did not speak French. We had heavy bags, a small child and my husband could barely breathe. Just awful.

Spent 2 nights there in a standard double room. It was larger than expected, clean and modern. The bed was wide and comfortable. Good selection of pillows too. Toilets were separate from the bathroom, which was a bonus. TV a bit small and far from the bed so not easy to watch. On the top floor overlooking a main street but it was quiet. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Coffee a bit weak. Check-in and out easy and fast. We wanted wine on Sunday evening but the bar was closed and one of the guys at reception offered to pour us glasses, which was nice. 2mn walk from Rennes train station / metro and bus. A fair few restaurants around and shopping centres nearby. Historic centre is only about 10mn walk. Didn't use the spa or pool so can't comment but they both looked attractive and welcoming. Few minus points: no milk in the room, only a few sachets of instant coffee. Air con a bit troublesome so hot in room but could open the two large windows so no biggie.

Room was conform all requirements But sadly, check in - breakfast/dinner area very chaotic Because of a football team that was staying there at the same time, other guests were offered VERY reduced choice of meals. The menu that was suggested on their digital information board in the room was also not available for that reason.
