Maitoniemi is a rental cabin situated on a sunny peninsula along a water route spanning several tens of kilometers, offering breathtaking views ideal for kayakers. This destination is well-suited for families and couples seeking a pleasant vacation.
25 km to the east from Kouvola, Väliväylä Canoeing Route 15 m, gently deepening sand beach, rowing boat, and a pier. Round log cabin, built in 1998 and renovated in 2023, features a living room/kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower and WC, and a wood-burning sauna.
A grill hut serves as an outdoor cooking area, complemented by a gas grill on the terrace. The spacious, partly covered terrace includes an embedded hot tub, free for use between May and October. Note: Hot tub usage is included in the accommodation price during the summer season from April 28th to October 31st. Guests are responsible for filling, heating, and emptying the hot tub. If you prefer the hot tub pre-filled and preheated, this can be arranged with the owner for an additional fee of 100 euros. Please note that during the winter months (November to April), access to the hot tub requires prior agreement with the owner.
This charming log cabin is located on the banks of the Kymi River, just 3 km from the village of Pyhtää.
The cabin features two bedrooms, one on the ground floor and another on the upper floor, both furnished with double beds. The living room/kitchen includes a sofa bed that accommodates two guests. Additionally, the loft has a 140 cm wide mattress. However, the cabin is rented out for a maximum of 6 guests. The wood-heated sauna provides a soothing and relaxing steam experience. The dressing room includes a WC and a washing machine.
The air source heat pump ensures warmth in winter and cooling in summer as needed.
The terrace features a gas grill, perfect for preparing meals such as post-sauna snacks. You can also take a refreshing dip in the Kymi River. The swimming area has a soft, gently deepening bottom, and you can access the water from the dock. A public beach on the opposite side of the river is accessible by boat (approx. 600 m) or car (3–4 km).
