Our courses are designed for complete beginners - both a beginners to fitness and a beginner to dance. So anybody can do our Beginners Course. Our Intermediates and Advanced courses are of course harder, but each week of your six weeks course we work on strengthening the upper body and core, so by the time you are ready for the next level mentally, so is your body. * Beginners - Each week we learn 2 x new spins, so no inverting, no climbing. We learn dance moves to use between each spin (so you don't get dizzy) and then we hook all the spins and moves together into fun combos. We teach a stepped syllabus so each week you build on the moves you learnt the week before. You will learn 12 spins so will have lots to show off! The class starts with specific pole warm ups then strength and stamina exercises, designed for SheSizzles by a sports scientist. Then the spins and dance section and mini dance sequences. Who for? Our Learn to Ride course is designed specifically for children aged 4-10 years old who would like to learn how to ride a bike with pedals. It is recommended that 4 year old's attend our Balance Bike course prior to attending this course. Course Description The course (4 x 1 hour sessions) will give children the skills and confidence required to ride a bike with pedals independently. The course will teaches children how to: Fit a helmetMount & dismount the bikeBalanceSteerBrakePedalWe will do this by lowering the seats and removing the pedals from the children’s bikes for the first three sessions. This enables children to learn the skills with the reassurance of being able to put their feet on the ground if they lose their balance. This helps them to feel safe which builds their confidence. For the fourth session we put the pedals back on and teach them how to perform the skills whilst also pedaling. The camera is their primary tool, working with both digital and analogue, still and moving images, to investigate the role the photographic image plays in how we create meaning and make sense of the world around us. Their current projects focus on the complex relationship between humans and the natural world, particularly exploring the climate crisis as a psychological crisis and how the images we create of nature inform our understanding of what nature is and in turn what the human is.
