bestseller—a deliciously twisty locked room mystery set at a luxe coastal retreat from the author of
The Paris Apartment
and

.
Secrets. Lies.
Murder.
Let the festivities begin…
It’s the opening night of The Manor, the newest and hottest luxury resort, and no expense, small or large, has been spared. The infinity pool sparkles. The “Manor Mule” cocktail (grapefruit, ginger, vodka, and a dash of CBD oil) is being poured with a heavy hand. Everyone is wearing linen.
But under the burning midsummer sun, darkness stirs. Old friends and enemies circulate among the guests. Just outside the Manor’s immaculately kept grounds, an ancient forest bristles with secrets. And it’s not too long before the local police are called. Turns out the past has crashed the party, with deadly results.
THE GIRLBOSS · THE HUSBAND · THE KITCHEN HELP · THE MYSTERY GUEST
Everyone’s got a secret. Everyone’s got an agenda. But not everyone will survive…
The Midnight Feast.

You may have heard about Great Hearts from friends and neighbors, things like our low teacher-student ratio, our focus on virtue, or the joy-filled days of learning. Maybe you’ve even heard about the no pop-culture policy.
What really makes Great Hearts different from other charter schools?
Come find out! We invite prospective families to tour the Great Hearts Arlington campus. Our tours offer prospective families a glimpse into the classrooms where our scholars experience the joy of learning and the pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
These tours are for prospective families with children who will be entering 6th - 11th grade. Great Hearts Arlington will begin accepting applications for 12th grade in November 2025.
These sessions offer parents the chance to spend a little personal time with our leadership team, to learn about current happenings on the campus, and to ask questions about their child’s grade.

About
The Griffin Sisters' Greatest Hits
Sisters Cassie and Zoe Grossberg were born just a year apart but could not have been more different. Zoe, blessed with charm and beauty, yearned for fame from the moment she could sing into a hairbrush. Cassie was a musical prodigy who never felt at home in her own skin and preferred the safety of the shadows.
On the brink of adulthood in the early 2000s, destiny intervened, catapulting the sisters into the spotlight as the pop sensation the Griffin Sisters, hitting all the touchstones of early aughts fame—
SNL
, MTV,
Rolling Stone
magazine—along the way.
But after a whirlwind year in the public eye, the band abruptly broke up.
Two decades later, Zoe’s a housewife; Cassie’s off the grid. The sisters aren’t speaking, and the real reason for the Griffin Sisters’ breakup is still a mystery. Zoe’s teenage daughter, Cherry, who’s determined to be a star in spite of Zoe’s warnings, is on a quest to learn the truth about what happened to the band all those years ago.
As secrets emerge, all three women must face the consequences of their choices: the ones they made and the ones the music industry made for them. Can they forgive each other—and themselves? And will the Griffin Sisters ever make music again?

Published 100 years after his birth,
Malcolm Lives!

The Redesign of Westpark: High Rise Public Housing in West Philadelphia | Center for DesignPhiladelphia
May 14, 2025 (UTC-4)
Philadelphia
Westpark Towers is a vacant, 12-acre public housing campus that is currently being redeveloped into a 1,000 unit, mixed-income community. This large project on a critical transit-adjacent site in West Powelton will create 330 public housing replacement units, 250 units of additional Affordable Housing, 420 workforce units, community-oriented retail, social services, and four acres of new public open space.
The redevelopment of Westpark Towers, located in District 3, is the result of a public-private partnership between the Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) and LMXD Development. With the support of Councilmember Jamie Gauthier and the new affordable housing legislation, Westpark Towers is a significant step toward addressing the critical need for affordable housing and social infrastructure in West Philadelphia. Councilmember Gauthier of West and Southwest Philadelphia (District 3) chairs the Committee on Housing, Neighborhood Development, and the Homeless.
Join DAG on May 14th as Councilmember Gauthier moderates a discussion with Laura Rog of LMXD Development, Ian Lundy, Director of MSquared, Drew Kmetz, Associate of Erdy McHenry Architecture, and Marni Burns, Partner at OLIN. The team will share their plans, thoughts and ideas about Westpark’s redevelopment through preservation and densification.
This event will be held at the Center for DesignPhiladelphia, 1218 Arch Street, Philadelphia PA 19107.
Registration is not required for in-person events, however it is helpful for our planning. Light refreshments will be served.
