Absolutely brilliant and absolute beachfront. Don't believe the BS reviews saying places like Stopforths are 10/10. If you want to be on the beach this place is brilliant. Huge modern rooms, friendly and helpful staff too. Easy parking and NW Supermarket is across the road. Not sure how other properties in Hokitika rate so highly. We've stayed at most and nothing comes close to this place backed on location and price.

My husband and I travelled to NZ for our honeymoon. Aspen Court was one of the best accommodations we stayed at in our trip. The rooms are very well thought of, with the perfect amenities one could need for their stay. They had a separate makeup removal towel, which was definitely a plus in my book. They are right across the street from the Franz Josef Glacier Guides and an incredible hot tub place (Waiho Hot Tubs). The laundromat is also a 2 min walk and the grocery store is a 5 min walk. The staff were very thoughtful and friendly. We were going to arrive pretty late and when informed, they were sweet enough to keep the room ready for us with the heater on and the room keys on the table. Location: 10/10, Amenities 10/10, Staff: 10/10

Reception was pleasant and efficient with plenty of information being provided or us to consider in our short stay. Located in the centre of Fox Glacier township and on the main road through the town. Bella Vista Motels are located in every town we went to on this trip and all look the same. Nice enough rooms with a kitchenette and bathroom. Clean and tasteful. If there was any complaint it was the stairs to get to the upper level, however it was ok for us but something to be aware of if you cant negotiate stairs. Parking was plentiful right outside your rooms. Very few TV channels and the picture on our TV was vey dark. Just as well we were not there to watch TV. We ate at the pub across the road.

Positive was location and room was nice and clean. My negatives, limited kitchen utensils (two spoons, two knives, two forks) , oversized seating chairs that were too close to the bed and had to move to get to the closet. The dining table was oversized for the room for two people. Dirty pan I had to scrub before using. Then had to scrape the ice build up in the freezer compartment as I need to freeze something, and only two hangers. Granted there are only two of us in the room, but had coats and vests to hang.

Lovely view from our room to the snow covered mountain peaks. We were told a family of Kea visit a big tree outside and we heard them next morning before sunrise. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Lovely view from our room to the snow covered mountain peaks. We were told a family of Kea visit a big tree outside and we heard them next morning before sunrise. Our room was clean and comfortable.

粗心訂成了二人間，告知前台還有孩子，酒店工作人員立刻幫忙調整為三人間，沒有加收任何費用，還送了我們一盒牛奶。感受很好。酒店離冰川溫泉中心也非常近

我們正在蜜月期，因此（酒店幫我們）免費昇級成套房。這個地方挺小的，估摸着就10到12間房吧。服務的員工也很少，但都很友善。在這裏住得很舒適。

我們徹底在綠洲住了一晚。我們的房間很現代，配備了極為舒適的床鋪。在漫長的一天跋涉福克斯冰川之後，內置噴射器的浴缸給我帶來了驚喜。唯一的缺點是酒店位於大約。距弗朗茲約瑟夫（Franz Josef）村4公裏，距福克斯冰川（Fox Glacier）約33公裏。但是，我們一定會再次返回以供將來住宿。

Amazing little place just outside Franz Josef. Quiet, clean and spacious our little villa was actually huge! Everything we needed in the kitchen and loved the eco stick toiletries. We had villa 13 which was close to the road but hardly any noise. Right opposite the little sheep petting area. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful and couldnt think of a better place to stay. Just wish we had had longer than 1 night.

I spent quite a bit of time comparing accommodation in both Fox and Franz Josef, and Sunset Hotel is great value for money! We stayed in one of their standard rooms which was much larger than most hotel rooms, with good views of the mountains. The kitchenette had a microwave, electric hot plate, toaster, kettle, and small fridge which meant we were able to prepare our own meals and parking was right beside our room which was very convenient. They offered a cheaper rate than what was on their website when we called as well. Run by a lovely small family, this hotel is a hidden gem!

The lodge was very clean, comfortable and warm. Showers hot and beds comfortable. There was a continental breakfast included in the tariff which was provided self serve in the breakfast room. The hosts were absolutely amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Laundry facilities on site. For the nightly rate, the accommodation was very good value.

Liked · If the term ”Serentity” ever suited a location, it's the Mount Cook View Motel, the Motel's setting in Fox Glacier is at the base of Mount Cook. The Mount Cook View Motel is a one minute drive from the highway down a Dead End Road, so there is no passing traffic noise. The motel has a ranch/farm like setting in a unique leafy & grassy enviroment that leaves (not meant as a pun) you feeling at one with the environment & nature. The silence is almost deafening as you try & take in all the spectacular surroundings of snow capped peaks, clouds snagged on jagged mountain tops, in a spacious farmland retreat. Anyone trying to escape the hustle & bustle of the city, anyone who wants to write their own Tolstoy ”War & Peace” novel or just wants to escape from the kids for a quite weekend. Well this is the place for that. Fox Glacier town has restaurants, shops & stores, all that one needs for a weekend away with nature. We had a cabin type apartment, seperate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen & backyard patio with views you just have to experience to believe. All that & with parking at the door & an attached laundry next door. SENERITY NOW.

We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are adequate size cozy and clean, bathrooms are nice. We were welcomed with a drink on the house and a great dinner afterwards. Scallops for appetizers, pig (wife sheep) for main and it was delicious. We even got the waiter to chill our red wine in advance. It’s not a 5 star hotel in a big city but a very comfortable hotel in the countryside and that’s what you get and pay for. So I give it 5 stars for giving us all we could wish for, for the price.

客觀的評論這個酒店： 第一：位置非常好，就在鎮上。 第二：服務不錯，基本上有問必答。 第三：設施不滿意，房間特別小，最重要的是隔音特別特別特別差，左右，樓上，衹要有任何聲響，都聽的非常清楚。 第四：性價比不高，1100多元的人民幣完全可以住在FRANZ 小鎮。那裡更加方便，超市也有。福克斯小鎮非常之小，想去買點水果吃的不是很方便。周圍飯店有幾家，吃飯不是太大的問題。 第五：最後第二天去坐直升機，因為天氣原因被取消，工作人員說現在天氣原因被取消的概率很高。後來去徒步去看看冰川一角，還是蠻讓人失望的。所以我覺得以後入住這個小鎮的意義真的不是很大，我也不太推薦其他的遊客入住這個小鎮和這個酒店。

酒店位置相對於有些偏，停車真的很方便，就在房間旁邊有很多停車位。前台服務很好，我們東西落下了，退房了以後才想起來，他們也很好說話就把房卡遞給我們了。泳池不錯，還有溫水的小泳池。但是房間太小了，沒有空調，門上的玻璃奇奇怪怪的，周圍一圈是透明的，能看見房間裏面，這點實在太詭異了。

We stayed at the Fitzherbert Court Motel for two nights on our way down the West Coast. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and fresh and serviced each day. Our bed was comfy too. We had everything we needed and were able to cook a simple meal. Parking was convenient with good turning space. The motel is situated very close to supermarkets, eateries and shops in Hokitika. Reception had information on local walks and activities. We found this motel met all our needs. Thank you !

Very welcoming and good attention to detail especially with regard to health and safety and emergency procedures. Our room was small with limited seating area although we had great access to a large lounge. The room was clean and comfortable with en suite bathroom. The bathroom perhaps could do with being updated but it was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed. Breakfast was great lots of choice and freshly cooked food.
