Very interesting fort
Absolutely amazing views of the city and fjords. The walk to the top can be great exercise or there is car parking as well. Take a few hours to explore, visit the museum and simply take in the views! ...

Lovely surroundings!
Nice views of Halden city and the ocean, it was lovely to walk around on the Festning. We did not visit any museums or took a guided walk, but enjoyed the visit anyways! It's a short walk down to Hald...
