A 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom beach bungalow sitting directly on meandering Paynes Bay, st James, part of the internationally acclaimed West Coast of Barbados, famed as the Platinum Coast. Both bedrooms have air conditioning. One bathroom is en-suite. It’s tastefully decorated and fully equipped in terms of appliances, cookware and electronics, including a Bang and Olufsen media centre and snorkelling equipment stored under the daybed. The water directly opposite is a gathering spot for hawksbill and greenback turtles, on most days you don’t have to swim out far to see and even bathe among them, if you care, or sit on the terrace watching the traffic of yachts, snorkelers and the like attracted by these wonderful wild, yet accommodating, creatures of nature. If your preference is for a more athletic or even adrenalised activity there is an abundance of water sports available for rent, including Hobie Cats, jet skis, paddle boards, and glass bottom boats all also a shells throw from the property’s beachside gate. Harpers ( Refreshed in March 2024 and the photos show the refreshed state) is a beautifully furnished, luxury, 4 bedroom 4 bathroom, holiday villa, situated just north of Holetown St James in the Westmoreland area of Barbados. There are 4 large covered terraces, all have see views. Harpers is located next to Sugar Hill and Royal Westmoreland, just 2 miles north of Holetown where you can find all the amenities you need for your stay. The Villa has a 26ft x 12ft pool, so you can swim and look at the sea view.There is a flat screenTV with streaming stick with many many channels, an Amazon stick with free US and UK channels, a multi region DVD player, ultra fast WiFi.The villa is a self-catering holiday rental with a fully equipped kitchen including, a large fridge-freezer with ice and filtered water, oven/hob, microwave, coffee maker, large toaster and grill/pannini maker.The bedrooms are air-conditioned. The whole house and gardens are detached, very private, secure and fully fenced. Lined with beautiful bougainvillea it is set amidst a gorgeous, colourful and immaculately landscaped garden with palm trees as well as a mango, lime and cherry tree. Sun-loungers surround the large private pool which is exclusively for your use. Hummingbird House is only accessible via our gated driveway, to which only the guest has the combination. It’s just a 5 minute walk to the Caribbean Sea where water sports, picnic areas and restaurants can be found, as well as the local supermarket, chemist and deli.
