The main industrial image of the city. It offers a wonderful panorama of the Dnipro, Khortitsa Island and the rapids.
Impressive hydroelectric dam
Very impressive to look at. American engineers worked on construction of the dam. General Electric built the generators.

This early 20 century dam was one of the great civil engineering projects of its time. Well worth viewing from afar. Glad I have seen it.
