Excellent View from the Top

When standing on the top you have a good 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside. It is no wonder that the British expended so many men in attacking it over quite a few months.

Less well-known but excellent WW1 location

Not for the physically challenged due to the steps to get up there but a fascinating spot. Fairly easy to find, signposted from the D929 and one of very few high places in the area.
