皮克林碼頭的發展來自於派克石油公司以該價值的百分之五十的價格出售該地區的土地，以換取允許在新英格蘭發電廠附近的德比街附近移動油艙。施工始於1977年左右，而Pickering碼頭於1979年開放。除了餐廳，ChaseHouse和VictoriaStation也是一家，有精品店的碼頭。塞勒姆仍然被稱為“巫婆之城”，是歷史悠久的海港。

This area is close to The House of the Seven Gables and is also a stop on the Salem Trolley tour. There are several places to eat and some unusual independent shops.
