Very interesting 45 mins tour into the fort, a four story complex. Off season only sterday and Sunday, twice a day. The enthousiastic guide speaks French only. An English written version is available...

Don’t bother. Horrendous single carriage way drive with hairpin bends
Arrived at 3.50pm for 4pm tour (we had emailed and called to check it was happening) to be told to wait outside. An hour waiting later and doors still locked and Tour guide still hadn’t turned up. ...
