To call these ruins is an understatement. There’s not much here, but what there is, is quite interesting.

This is a small but interesting site with good parking and a clear explanations. It is not signed off the main road and involves a narrow lane so you might need to be fairly determined.

Well worth a visit

The Loher stone fort is well worth a visit. It is a little off the beaten track however. We were very impressed with its presentation.

Amazing view from the fort!

The roads are narrow and winding to this one, but we loved the view and walking around the fort. If you are around Waterville, I would recommend.
