Can’t miss this delightful animal as you disembark from the Hurtigruten ship. Great story surrounding this lovely animal, and a perfect photo opportunity.

Man's Best Friend in War is a Dog
The story of the dog and its travels during WW2 are interesting and worth knowing about. The dog did save 2 lives. That said, there is no explanation for this statue at the statue and seems surrounded...

Interesting story
Lovely story about this dog. Living in Scotland made this very interesting. Just outside the Tourist Information office, alongside the cruise ship dock. Well worth a look and a photo!
