金索爾高架橋(Kinsol Trestle)，從停車場到大橋還有一段十幾分鐘的徒步路程，步道穿梭在濃密的森林之間——這條路其實原本是鐵路，後來廢棄不用了——路邊還能看到碼放的老枕木。 深藏在考伊琴山谷的金索爾高架橋，是我特別喜歡的那種既古老又體量超大的建築風格，長度超過182 米，距橋下河谷的最高處有15層樓那麼高，全部由木料搭建組裝而成——要知道百年前建造的這座橋可是用來通火車的！ 如今再也聽不到轟轟隆隆的火車聲了，這裏安靜地可以聽到山林里的每一隻鳥叫。我趴在欄杆上拍照時，一對老人從前方騎着單車經過，抬手和我打着招呼——是的，這座橋如今已是徒步和騎行愛好者的天堂。
