Bigger than life!
This gigantic statue is a reminder of the heritage of the area. It is easily accessible, and easy to photograph.

Loved this statue. So amazing. The history behind it was quite interesting. Would like to go back someday and take my grandkids.

Must stop in Alex. Get over it. Touristy, ya! There are around 100 huge statues throughout Minnesota. This is one of the best, and it was at a World's Fair.
Very cool tribute to viking heritage
This guy stands proudly near a museum (which was closed when we were there). The viking is a quirky attraction wuth5nonstop groups visiting while we were there.
