漢中飲馬池位於漢中市東南部，相傳是西漢劉邦的軍隊駐紮在漢中時的飲馬處。湖面約6358平方米，是漢台區名勝古迹之一。2000年，漢中市將飲馬池列為市重點文物保護單位。

漢高祖劉邦飲馬池(東湖)位於漢中城內東南，湖面約6358平方米，舊有三台閣陪襯，景色優美。天晴氣爽，湖岸古柳，隨風搖曳。閣影例映，蕩漾湖中，是漢台區名勝古迹之一。

漢中飲馬池就在我住的酒店附近，走路十分鐘就到了。其所在馬路就叫飲馬池路。飲馬池相傳是劉邦駐漢中時飲馬的地方，距離拜將壇，古漢台都不遠。可惜飲馬池基本沒有遊人，保護的也不好。

漢中的飲馬池，又名東湖，相傳劉邦駐軍漢中時，曾在池內飲馬。它與古漢台、拜將台合稱漢中的“西漢三遺址”。別小看這個被網友們稱為“像農村澇池”的小池塘，它可真是漢中名副其實的老古董。原在池邊建有三台閣，屬於漢台城區較高的建築，可惜毀於文革時期。

幾乎算不上什麼景點了，只剩下一汪綠綠的死水，倒是旁邊的飲馬池夜市很熱鬧呢，有個哈家烤肉不錯呢，每次路過都很多人，一品飄香麵皮也是不錯的
