巡塘古鎮，系春秋時期伍子胥防禦越國水兵而建。小橋流水，江南特色。過年逛古鎮，吃麥芽糖，玩糖稀，追尋童時美好記憶，孩子很開心。現在裏面大部分是酒店，普通遊客逛一逛也蠻有趣味。建議以後戲台利用起來，定時有演出，就完美了

無錫巡塘古鎮規模不大，老建築保護比較完整，由於知名度不高，遊客也比較少。古鎮基本都改造成了酒店，周末來此休憩，是不錯的選擇。
