It's 340 kilometers from Perth. It's recommended to stay in Hayden, which is 4 kilometers from Wave Rock, for one night. However, no hotel can be found here on major websites. We found the only house on airbnb, wave rock country cottage, with two halls and three rooms, suitable for a family size. There's a big campsite next to Wave Rock. If you don't want to go camping, you can also stay in the nearby wave rock motel, where the restaurant stays open until 9:30 p.m. and the bar stays open very late. There's a wave rock lakeside resort right next to the wave rock, which should be good.
