旅遊去到俄羅斯，在俄羅斯里到處可以見到有凱旋門，旅遊車經常會路過，由於行程裏面沒有安排下車遊覽凱旋門，所以就只可以在車子路過的時候，趕緊抓拍幾張。凱旋門本來是古代羅馬人創建的，為了慶祝戰爭勝利而建造出來的紀念性建築物，是門的一種，通常是橫跨在一條道路上的獨立建築。這裏的凱旋門高28米，圓柱之間站立着手持盾牌和長矛的勇士，勇士頭頂的牆壁上是反映俄軍和法軍作戰的浮雕。

In the carriage sits the goddess of victory. Her right hand is high with a laurel wreath, facing the entrance of the city. Its warriors, with sword or laurel wreath and olive branch, symbolize victory and peace. Between the gateposts were four Russian soldiers, armoured, armed with shields and guns, with quots engraved on their fingers; France expelled and Moscow liberated; and the lintel was decorated with the city signs of 44 Russian cities fighting Napoleon's army. The whole Arc de Triomphe is covered with white stone, which stands out against the black cylinder.
