Swan Lake, formerly known as Guangnan Reservoir, is located in the coastal zone of the South Bank of Guangli River in the east of Dongying District, Dongying City. It is 15 kilometers and 40 kilometers away from Dongcheng and Xicheng of Dongying City, respectively. Swan Lake Reservoir is 8 kilometers long in North and south, 5 kilometers wide in East and west, covering an area of nearly 40 square kilometers, which is eight times the area of West Lake in Hangzhou. The total length of the dam is 71 kilometers and the designed storage capacity is 114 million cubic meters, which is the largest coastal plain reservoir in China.
