The gallery is a practical use of part of the st. John''s Hospital building, exhibiting the main works and materials of Memlin, who was active in Bruges, in particular the Holy Relics of St. Eusula, one of Belgium''s seven secret treasures.

The Memling Museum, located on the side of Notre Dame Cathedral, is located in one of the oldest medieval hospitals in Europe (St. John's Hospital, opened only to believers and the poor, was built in the 12th-17th century).
