金色宮殿僧院條評論

整個建築本來是在皇宮內，但是由於其繼任者避諱於敏東王死亡，所以整個被遷移到現在的位置，成為一座僧院。原址在曼德勒皇宮內，貢榜王朝敏東王在此殂，其子避諱，因而將整個建築搬遷於此。

烏黑色的柚木建築，很古老，走在上面真的可以聽見那種木頭咿咿呀呀的聲音。金色宮殿僧院的木質結構讓人眼前一亮，門窗上精緻的木雕也給整個建築增添了別樣的風采。
