Shanghai Museum of Nature - "is one of the largest natural museums in China. Located in Jing'an Sculpture Park, Shanghai. Its history can be traced back to the Xujiahui Museum (the earliest Museum in China), founded in 1868 by French Catholic priest Hanburg, and the Shanghai Museum (the Royal Society of British Museum, renamed the Shanghai Museum after liberation) at the Asian Cultural Conference held by the British in 1874. The New Museum of Shanghai Museum of Natural History takes "Nature Man Harmony" as its theme.
