主教宮位於薩爾茨堡市中心，薩爾茨堡大教堂的旁邊。個人認為主教宮是薩爾茨堡三個最值得一游的景點之一，另兩個是海倫戲水宮和薩爾茨堡城堡。主教宮由薩爾茨堡的主教建立，是其生活和工作的宮殿，景點除了包含宮殿外還包括博物館、教堂和美術館等，裡面包含了主教的眾多精品收藏，而且遊人不多，非常適合慢品漫遊，強烈推薦。
