The translation of Radcliffe's camera is too rigid. In fact, it's part of Radcliffe's library. It's a reading room. It's not open to the public. But its beautiful shape, which combines Italian style dome, is very noticeable.
We also visited the Oxford University Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe. The area actually consists of three major libraries, including the old Bodley Library, the Redcliffe Library and the new Bodley Library. Look at the old reading room outdoor view of the library called the Redcliffe Arch on Google Maps. The round building, built in 1749, became one of the landmarks of Oxford with its beautiful Baroque architecture.
