This magnificent building, which was built in 1929, is the predecessor of the League of Nations and is now the European headquarters of the United Nations, known as the Palais des Nations. It is situated on a large grassland near Lake Geneva, with dozens of conference rooms and more than 1,000 offices. When visiting, you need to take part in a tour group, which is equipped with Chinese guides for Chinese people. When you enter, you can visit and understand the functions of each important conference hall, and appreciate paintings and works of art from different countries. Tickets are 12 Swiss francs. Passes are not allowed to be discounted, but they are still worth going.
