北迴歸線是如此美麗和巨大!6月20日(夏至)太陽直接照射北迴歸線,因此紀念碑中間的洞,以便參觀紀念碑時可以看到地面上的陽光直射。“奎陽孔”(一個能透過它看到陽光的管道)的名字來自那裏。在中國,這些紀念碑總共有12個。

“自然之門”是南澳北回歸線標誌塔，位於汕頭市南澳島上的北回歸線廣場，是唯一一座位於海島上的北回歸線標誌塔。每年夏至正午，當太陽直射北回歸線時，日影將穿過“自然之門”上方圓球中心圓管，投射地台中央，達到“立桿不見影”的效果。
