The mountain was opened in 940 and worshipped the immovable king of Ming Dynasty, who was enlightened by Master Hongfa. A variety of new and old buildings stand side by side in the spacious monastery. From the middle to the end of the Edo era, five buildings, namely, Renwangmen, Triple Tower, Sakya Hall, Ertang and Guangming Hall, have been designated as important cultural heritage. In 2007, a new mountain gate was built.
