The war monument here is a symbol of the memory of the dead people in the hearts of the local people. It has great symbolic significance and is not very interesting in itself.

    New Zealand participated in some wars in the name of Britain or the Commonwealth. Some of the soldiers came from the surrounding areas of Makana. This was established by the local residents in memory of the expeditionary soldiers at that time. In fact, in New Zealand, there are many similar military monuments.
