Daxiangguo Temple is located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, China. It is one of the ten famous temples of Han Buddhism in China. It is a national AAAA tourist attraction. The former residence of Wei Xinling, one of the four princes of the Warring States Period. Daxiangguo Temple was first built in Tianbao, Northern Qi Dynasty (555 AD). It was named Xiangguo Temple at that time. Later, it was converted to Xinling Monarch Temple, and then to Xiangguo Temple. It was also worshipped in the back hall of the temple. In the first year of Tang Yanhe (712), Tang Ruizhong named the temple Daxiangguo Monastery in commemoration of his reappearance as the king of the prime minister. In the Northern Song Dynasty, the status and scale of Daxiangguo Temple reached its peak, with 64 Zen Buddhist temples and law schools, covering 540 Mu and thousands of monks. It was not only the Buddhist center of the whole country at that time, but also the commodity distribution center of businessmen from all over the country in Kaifeng, capital.
