林坑位於黃南鄉境內，林坑並非徒有虛名，這裏擁有楠溪江保存最完整的山地民居。它們都有100年以上的歷史，造型玲瓏剔透的木屋掩映在青山綠水中，古樸自然。

這個景區不用買門票，門口可以停車，收10元停車費，除了客棧，農家樂，沒有過度開發。沿着健身步道一直走就上毛公山了，可以全覽整個村子，差不多用兩小時就可以逛完這個安靜的小村莊。

林坑古村始建於明朝，全村基本上都是毛性，屬於家族聚居地，距今已經有700多年歷史，建築具有典型的浙南山地居民風格，所以即使沒有了曬秋，整個村落也很適合閑逛拍照。

景區總的來說，還是可以的，唯獨有一點不好的就是，已經標註是古村落，那些車輛就不應該讓他們開進來破壞風景，經常的想拍些好的景色，總有煞風景的現代車輛亂入

村子不大，停車場在村口，十塊錢一輛，旁邊有洗手間。裏面就沿着河邊走邊看，還是原汁原味的民居，很多改成飯店和民宿，賣東西的基本上都是當地土產，沒什麼商業化的玩意。但是野生獼猴桃真的不怎麼好吃。走到最裏面有一個小湖，現在水少所以水面也很小，可以打水漂，玩了一會很開心。有不少村民的土狗到處跑來跑去，有一點嚇人
