While on our way to Musée de l'Orangerie we stopped here for lunch. Its not our type of lunch place as we try to stay away from the touristy type places. But this was still filled with locals. I suppose the Tourists cant over run everything in the city. We got there just before the Lunch rush and ordered quickly. This was good as the place filled up very soon after our food came. The serve the traditional French Lunch things. Plus the normal 3 course meal that most bistros in Paris do. We had the Croque Madame and the Caesar Salad along with some French Fries to share. We also had a beer and a wine. The prices are actually good for a high traffic tourist area. The portion sizes were very generous. My salad was very big in a mixing bowl and very filling. The surroundings are nice too. Great spot to watch the people and the gardens. The staff were rushed but polite. As with all Paris/French restaurants using a little bit of French goes along way to help get good service. Tips are welcome if deserved. We had gone to another one of these little cafes in the park the year before. But found this one better. They are all very similar in Price and Menu. So try to pick the one that seems busier with locals. You know the food is better.

Indifferent service and €5.50 for a cup of tea (tea bag only). Spoons and cups dirty. In a nice park nearby the Louvre but avoidable.
