牛車水是早年華人到達新加坡的第一個落腳點的，而現在成了一個新加坡的主要景區的。這裏非常的熱鬧，有濃濃的中國味的，很喜歡這裏的騎樓建築的

Kreta Ayer Square is Niucheshui Square. There are many people and most Chinese people. When traveling abroad, they will inevitably feel homesick and want to find a very familiar environment.

The square is almost in the center of Chinatown, just behind the Buddha's Tooth Temple. A station in the square is the Chinatown Tourist Information Center, which provides useful information about many Chinatown attractions and activities. There is also the People's Theatre, where you can watch cultural music and dance performances.
