到達基督雕像之前,它非常困難,有800多個台階,並且在基督雕像內有樓梯。基督雕像內的樓梯很窄,扶手很低,所以很嚇人。頂部的空間只有兩個成年人,所以如果擁擠,需要等待時間。

耶穌山位於胡志明市東南面，因山上建有世界最大的耶穌雕像而得名。耶穌石像雙手伸展，面向南中國海。爬上石梯，到達耶穌像腳下，可入內参觀。站在雕像肩膊位置，俯瞰頭頓市美景，一覽無遺、如詩如畫。

位於越南頭頓的耶穌像，與巴西里約熱內盧的基督像很相似，都是建在城市旁邊的山頂上，不過頭頓這個城市沒有里約那麼繁華，頭頓的耶穌山也沒有里約的基督山那麼高，頭頓耶穌山據說是以前駐紮越南的美軍建設的，從山腳慢慢爬上去感覺大概半個小時，也不會覺得特別累，遊客也非常少，耶穌像可以內部的樓梯爬上去，從石像的肩部探出頭來拍照，景色一邊是城市一邊是海岸，還是非常壯觀的。
