紅崖山水庫在古絲綢之路重鎮武威市以北，一座沙漠窪地蓄水工程，東西兩面被騰格里和巴丹吉林兩大沙漠相挾，在少雨的山丹，對農業牧業種植起着非常重要的作用，如同鑲嵌在戈壁草原上的一顆珍珠。

基建奇迹，亞洲最大的沙漠水庫。出發之前看了眼攜程的評價，簡直就失真到沒邊。雖然沒啥信心，但是去到還是挺震驚的。【景色】非常震撼，心曠神怡，適合一家大小去開開眼。【性價比】沒門票也沒設施，就是去那邊吃個西瓜，有興趣可以去附近農家樂吃水庫魚。半天在路上，三小時的遊玩時間，還行吧。
