Hofdi House is a beautiful white villa on the seaside of Reykjavik. It is a meaningful house. It is here that the United States and the Soviet Union signed the Cold War Armistice Agreement, so it is a landmark building for the end of the Cold War. Ctrip arranged for us to have lunch across from it. The scenery around the house is very good. Walk along the seaside, see the sculptures and blow the sea breeze.

Hofdi Tower, October 1986, Reagan and Gorbachev held secret talks in Iceland. In fact, an ordinary villa is just a little similar to the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai.

這棟建築歷史意義比較大，曾經是法國駐冰島的領館，冷戰結束前蘇聯和美國在這裏舉行了秘密會晤。建築本身是不開放的，無法進入，周圍是海岸線和草地，草地旁邊還可以看到一塊柏林牆，是德國送給冰島的禮物。這塊地區是冰島的“銀行街”，聚集着冰島的幾大銀行，會計師事務所，微軟等公司。不過並沒有高樓大廈，都是“冰島式”懶散的底層小樓，倒也是別有一番趣味。

The Harper Concert Hall and the Solar Voyager sculpture are located on the same coastal trail (Highway 41), about 800 meters west of the Solar Voyager sculpture. It is said that this is the place where the last president of the West and the Soviet Union was photographed. In fact, as far as this house is concerned, it has no special features. It is because of such a meeting that it has special significance.
