哥拉巴園保留著160年多年前，遠度來到長崎的外國商人們的居留地，位於能俯瞰長崎港的地方，其中為日本現代化做出重大貢獻的湯瑪士・布雷克・哥拉巴曾居住的「舊哥拉巴住宅」，已被登錄為「世界遺產」的珍貴建築物。可惜2023年去時，可能是要關園整修，園內植物或其他狀況，都不是很理想，期待再次重新開放有新氣象。

This is mainly because Nagasaki is the earliest open city in Japan, so there are many European-style buildings.
